Accessing support

IDEA Services is funded through the government to provide support for people with intellectual disabilities.

You can get an assessment by talking to your Needs Assessment and Service Coordination service (NASC) or an Enabling Good Lives (EGL) connector, depending on your region. Come to us once you have the results of your assessment.

Contact your local NASC organisation by phoning 0800 693 342 or visit the NZ Federation of Disability Information Centres website.

If you have any questions, contact your local IDEA Services office. We have services in communities throughout New Zealand.
