We want to update everyone on the changes to Whaikaha’s Purchasing Rules.
This has been a confusing couple of weeks as everyone understands what the changes are going to mean to them. We know that it will be worrying for many people.
At IDEA Services that might mean a change for about 60 people who we work with including people who receive Flexible Disability Support or those in Choices in Community Living. We are talking with those people about that.
If you use a personal budget to buy services directly from IDEA Services, and we haven’t spoken to you about this yet, please talk to us.
For everyone else – we do not expect any changes, but if anyone is worried they are also welcome to talk to their service manager.
