IDEA Services has accepted the breach findings of the HDC Report released on 3 February 2020 and apologises to the individual and his family.
IDEA Services is confident of meeting timelines for all recommendations in the report.
We have completed a full Quality and Safety Review and have made significant changes to the way we work and incident reporting. Changes include having more managers who spend more time in our services, increasing our clinical and health support teams and introducing an online Risk Management tool so that managers have increased visibility over incidents.
We are committed to ensuring safety in our services and are confident the changes have resulted in improvements.
We have apologised and are sorry for what occurred.
